What is a Cata fun server?

A fun server keeps the game you know but drops the limits that make retail slow. Stats grow much faster, numbers go far beyond what Blizzard ever allowed, and custom systems give you new goals once you reach the level cap. On a Blizzlike realm you spend months on the same raid. On a fun server you are always one upgrade, one key level or one event mount away from your next goal.

A haste system without limits

The biggest change is haste. Our custom haste system works with every proc and modifier, all the way down to a 0.00 attack speed. The haste cap is 10,000 for melee and 5,000 for casters, and reaching it completely changes how your class plays. That is why Warspring is also known as a Cata haste server or Cataclysm haste server. Gear that keeps scaling

Every upgrade is a real jump in power. Stats grow exponentially instead of linearly, so progression never flattens out. To make that work, the server goes far past the client's limits:

  • No health limits. Units can go far beyond the usual 2 billion health cap, so the toughest bosses have trillions of health.
  • Bag emblems. Event emblems give their stats from your bags, and you upgrade them five times with event currency.
  • Upgrades everywhere. Weapons, gear and emblems can be upgraded with materials you farm in the world and in dungeons.

Custom Mythic+ for Cataclysm

Cataclysm never had Mythic+, so we built our own. Keys scale endlessly, the Cataclysm dungeons each have their own timer, and every run counts on the website leaderboards and in game. New races

Four races that never existed in Cataclysm are playable from the character creation screen: Pandaren, Void Elf, Vulpera and Nightborne.

Events every year

Hallow's End, Winter Veil and Easter come back every year with their own Mythic+ dungeon, an upgradeable emblem, 10 mounts to farm or buy, daily quests and an event leaderboard. The events guide has the dates and rewards.

  • Auto loot: type .autoloot in chat to loot every mob around you automatically.
